Project aims at promote Sustainable Rural development through Social & economic empowerment of tribal /disadvantaged communities by providing them support for agriculture, Livestock & life skills training which enables them earn livelihood or self employment and become contributing members to society.
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT:
To enhance rural production and productivity,
ensure much greater surface water storage capacity and reduce dependence on groundwater
make much more water available for farming/ Fishing and Agro based industries
ensure multiple cropping / vegetables /rabbi farming after monsoon thereby improving earning potential of farmers
Strive for greater socio-economic equity, and aspiration
Develop a balance in social and economic development i.e Rural and semi urban development as a core strength of the nation
